Katherine Russell, owner of KR Consulting, is an independent consultant and professionally trained strategist, writer, public speaker, and educator with more than 16 years of experience.  The majority of her career was spent as a Senior Vice President at FTN Financial, a regional securities firm located in Memphis, TN.  More recently, she is an adjunct professor in the Master of Business Administration program at Christian Brothers University.

Katherine has written extensively for professional publications, designed complex sales analytics, and developed original content for interactive website platforms. She has experience creating and implementing curriculums in both business and educational environments and has participated in the hiring and training of individuals for fast-paced, rewarding careers.  Katherine’s public speaking experience includes presentations at large trade organization conferences, seminars, board of directors meetings, and schools to audiences ranging from 25 attendees to as many as 1,000.

Katherine serves on The Salvation Army's Memphis and The Mid-South Advisory Board and is an InvestWrite National Youth Business Writing Competition Judge, a Girl Scout troop leader, and has served as a tnAchieves Tennessee College Scholarship mentor.  Katherine earned her M.B.A. and B.B.A. degrees from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS and resides in Memphis with her husband and three children.
